What is NLP?

NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, offers practical skills that can assist in creating lasting and profound change through the application of different modeled strategies.

It is a vast field of study and inquiry into the realms of behavioral therapies, inter/intrapersonal communication, systemic thinking, and linguistics. NLP can be applied in any field, from sales and business to sports enhancement and self-improvement. It is a practical and useful science of pattern detection, offering effective tools for communication and personal performance.

We have selected a few techniques from the numerous ones that have originated from the field of NLP. Presented as a collection of steps to achieving change, simply by understanding how we individually make representations of the external world through our words and basic behaviors.

Insight into our fundamental thought processes is achieved with just a few directed questions that help us truly understand what we really want and what resources we already have to help us in a specific context.

As a complementary methodology, NLP offers many tools and “how-to” strategies for creating new choices and behaviors. It is an effective method for gaining an individual understanding of how we process information and access our beliefs, identities, and behaviors, which collectively make up the “programs” that operate on the conscious and unconscious levels.

These programs are what drive the thoughts, feelings, and actions that lead to excellence and positive changes in our daily lives. With these fun and simple approaches to understanding ourselves, we can learn new patterns and behaviors that are in alignment with individual outcomes for change.

The clients gain an understanding of the “Well-formed Outcome” and learn new ways to set and achieve goals. Specific and tangible outcomes are formed using the questions and meta-questions of NLP to explore wants and intentions.

The more specific the outcome or goal can be defined, and then accessed with aligned neurology; the more likely the outcome is to be achieved.
